The 7th Cycle of the EU Youth Dialogue 2019-2020 (held under the Romanian, Finnish and Croatian Trio Presidency) came to an end with the Croatian EU Youth Conference which took place in Zagreb (Croatia) from 9 to 11 March 2020.
Under the overarching theme ‘Creating opportunities for youth’, the 7th Cycle saw the participation of around 56,000 young people across Europe who, through different kinds of activities, focus groups, workshops and national consultations could make their voices heard.
The theme chosen by the Trio Presidency “Creating opportunities for youth” focused specifically on three sub-themes:
- Quality Employment for All
- Quality Youth Work for All
- Opportunities for Rural Youth
The theme was directly connected to three EU Youth Goals: Quality Employment for All, Quality Learning, and Moving Rural Youth Forward.
In the UK, the EU Youth Dialogue is coordinated by the British Youth Council.
