Huge changes to the world of work over the past two decades have made little impact on teenagers’ career expectations, which have become more concentrated in fewer occupations, according to a new OECD report.
"Dream Jobs? Teenagers’ Career Aspirations and the Future of Work" is a new report from the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). This research shows how the mismatch between the aspirations of young people and the future of work will impact the world economy. It also includes recommendations of ways in which employers and governments can act.
The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) is an international organisation that works to build better policies for better lives. Education and Employers is a UK charity, which contributed to the research and publication.
